The 10th European Nanoporous Materials Institute of Excellence Workshop took place from 16 to 17th April 2026 at the “Auditorio Cubo Azul” in the Polytechnic City of Innovation of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. ENMIX was founded in 2009 and considers itself a scientific network devoted to nanoporous materials, bringing together complementary areas of expertise such as the synthesis of nanoporous materials, their characterization and application. Dr. Carola Vorndran gave a talk during the meeting on “Advanced Wettability Characterization of Zeolites and Silica by Combining Adsorption with NMR Relaxometry” (authors: C. Vorndran, L. Sandner, M. Thommes). The results presented by Dr. Vorndran are highly relevant for optimizing the application of nanoporous materials in the areas of catalysis, water harvesting and adsorption based cooling and heating and separation.
