Prof. Matthias Thommes and Dr. Carlos Cuadrado Collados were involved in a scientific collaboration with the groups of Prof. Karl Mandel and Prof. Julien Bachmann from the Department of Chemistry. The results of this collaboration were recently published in the high impact journal Small Methods.

Prof. Thommes delivered an invited Keynote Lecture entitled “Recent advanced in the textural characterization of nanorporous materials” at the French Adsorption conference (Journées Scientifiques de l’Association Française de l'Adsorption), which was held as a virtual event on 27/28 January 2022.

Prof. Thommes is among the top 2 percent of  the most cited researchers according to the “Stanford list” based on the Scopus data base.
