Excursion to CarboTech and Chemiepark Lülsdorf
The Institute of Separation Science and Technology, in collaboration with CarboTech, organized an educational excursion on November 13 and 14, 2025. Students of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering had the opportunity to visit CarboTech in Essen and Chemiepark Lülsdorf in Niederkassel to gain insights into the different aspects of the daily routines of chemical engineers. The excursion was rounded off by the opportunity to visit CarboTech’s production unit for activated carbons as well as different production sites at Chemiepark Lülsdorf.
