From 6th September to 9th September 2022 the Edinburgh-Erlangen School of Adsorption (EESA) will take place at the University of Edinburgh. The school is organized by Prof. Matthias Thommes (CRC 1411 PI) and Prof. Stefano Brandani. The School is aimed to PhD students, Researchers and Industrialists willing to gain a deeper insight of the fundamental aspects of adsorption science and engineering. One important aspect is also the characterization of nanoporous adsorbent materials by adsorption characterization. For this, novel physisorption based methods (as also developed in CRC 1411 Design of Particulate Products) will be applied to assess the potential of novel adsorbents for applications in separation, catalysis and gas storage, e.g. carbon capture.

Registration for the school is now open.
